Mentor Program 2008
Colliers Pinkard and City Springs,
a Baltimore city public school, have had
a mentoring program for more than 10 years.
This year, the program wanted to get more
hands-on. With the help of the Living
Classrooms foundation, students and
mentors teamed up to build two
“peace canoes” and make multimedia
presentations, meeting one day a month
throughout the school year. On June 4th,
the peace canoes were paraded from
the museum to the school where they
were displayed for graduation.
